Having been a small business owner myself, I am truly honored to receive the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business – Illinois PAC. I have been successful running my local community like a business: reducing spending, budgets and taxes for seven years. I am looking to bring the same principles to Springfield where spending controls are sorely needed. Illinois is losing population and businesses, but the state government keeps growing. If it were a business, Illinois would have to file bankruptcy, but instead they just keep raising taxes.
